Top 5 Noteworthy WAX NFT Releases and Updates

5.) 9/28/21 Princess Bride — Reading the website headlines and the odds of each rarity, it looks like a release that is coming out simply on the cult following of the movie itself. There’s Epic at 4.44%, Legendary at .22% and Sketch at ??? This time around there’s no upgrading of cards via burning and combining, so it looks like a straight release based on a rarity system. Staking? Nope. Underlying Crypto? Nope. Just a straight release with a big name.

4.) 9/30/21 Iron Maiden Funko — I’ve always loved to open the Funko packs..but way early to try to grab the physical redemptions of Legendary and Grail. This might be the same. It’ll sell out fast but what happens weeks after? Who knows…Iron Maiden is a big name but not a HUGE MASSIVE name, but Funko collectors are crazy and buy whatever comes out anyway. Note: There appears to be rarities of up to Grail on the website but no mention of Gold or Silver 1/1’s that I can see. But I’m sure they’re going to do that again with this release.

3.) 10/2/21 — Galaktika releases a new drops with 2600 big packs and 2460 small packs. That’s a little over 3X the amount of packs being released from their first release. Appears to be the same rarities as detailed below, with some surprises.

Also seeing the Bounty cards (for wax as listed on the site), Portals and a new NFT called “Spark”. It pretty much looks like a repeat of the first release structure with new cards and art.

5000+ packs…after the huge move the packs made early with the first release, it might be hard to match that success with that many packs. The art is beautiful with future utility as stated on the website, but they need to have a mistake free clean release to get the pack buyers into this again. It’s been tough over the past month or two with Galaktika.

2.) 9/30/21–10/05/21 — New Farmer’s World pack releases on these dates..

Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 releases of new Farmer’s World packs.

If you’re in the WAX NFT space and don’t know about the trajectory of this game, you’re probably not surfing through Cryptoslam or Atomichub at all…I would have placed them number 1 but there was a recent bout of a correction in the market…not horrible, but noticeable. Regardless it’s the talk of the town, and I myself would be digging into these packs when they come out…IF I can get my hands on them. I personally haven’t played the game, but I’ve been hearing about huge amounts of wax being made by going hardcore into it. Here’s what comes out of the packs.

With me, since I don’t know much about the actual gameplay, I look at what are the lowest odds and rip until i get ‘em! It looks like they raised the prices from earlier releases based on the secondary demand, but it might be worth digging in or holding these packs long term. Maybe the Calf becomes a huge multi thousand dollar card on first blush (10% chance in a $208 pack)

5.) 9/31/21 (??) Battleminers NFT — There’s a huge clock on the front page of the website that says the promo period is ending in about 3 days, so based on what I’m seeing they will probably release new packs soon.

My issue right now is the news isn’t fully out there yet (even chatting with Battleminers Discord). From my perspective I’m a little biased placing Battle Miners #1 because i’ve spent thousand of dollars ripping their packs. The packs are about $70 and worst case is typically a $55 card in return. You’re essentially buying the cards with minimal pain in attempt to get the really high valued Ultimates..which are incredibly rare. Best I’ve done is several $200-$300 cards but nothing massive yet. My theory about NFT releases, is if the packs don’t KILL you like Battle Miners packs, the ongoing releases and future of the NFT would be healthy. It’s not a science, but based on this theory, Battle Miners has a huge future. I play the mini game and mine as well, with about $2500 in and $15 a day from passive. That’s really good at this point…$10,000 would be $60-$70 passive which would rank Battle Miners among the top WAX NFT staking games.
